The SSPUG was founded in June 2009. This user group is for all persons involved in SharePoint in the Sandhills community. This includes developers, designers, users, power users, administrators, managers, recruiters, as well as the merely curious. Our goal is to share deep SharePoint experience with individuals who are interested in learning, sharing and growing their Microsoft SharePoint knowledge and capabilities. It is our intention to bring the local SharePoint community together and provide them a forum to hear top industry experts present and teach the technology we are all interested in, to share tips, tricks and ideas on the uses of the various SharePoint products and technologies.

The Sandhills community of North Carolina is made up of 8 counties: Lee, Moore, Hoke, Harnett, Cumberland, Robeson, Bladen and Sampson. These counties are all surrounding the Fort Bragg military reservation. The members of the Sandhills SharePoint User Group all live and work in these counties, many working on Fort Bragg, supporting the Army and other DoD organizations. |
